I cannot remember the last time I had so much fun painting a piece. This little she-bear brought me so much joy throughout the entire process. I wanted to capture the almost human like qualities and appearances wildlife can sometimes exhibit, where we can see a little bit of our selves reflecting back at us in their look.
The texture shows up so well on this print! The original of this piece is 18x24, so if you want to create as close to the original as possible I recommend 18x24 gallery wrapped canvas with black sides. This piece prints up really well on paper too, so that is definitely an option if you want a paper print to frame.
